A freshly baked pie with juicy apples, brown sugar, cinnamon & a buttery crust. Not too sweet, instead the tart apples provide a sharp, fresh scent, with warm spicy untones.
Rowbert candles are hand poured using natural soy wax. Not only is this an eco-friendly option as it's biodegradable and sustainable, but soy burns cleaner and lasts longer. We add the maximum amount of scented oils into our candles so that they're strong and will fill your home with gorgeous fragrance. We don't add any dyes or artificial colourants, meaning all of our candles are white or cream in colour. All of this results in a clean, even burning, fragrant candle!
Our candles are housed in clear glass jars that provide a warm, ambient glow when burning. They can be washed out and reused afterwards to store small items, or simply peel the label off and pop into your recycling. Presented in a branded box makes this the perfect ready made gift.
Our Christmas candle labels have been exclusively designed by Meghan Earle, an incredibly talented artist, based in Huddersfield. Meghan draws her designs totally freehand, it's mesmerising to watch. The design she has drawn for us took around 4 hours and is completely bespoke and unique to us. You won’t find them anywhere else! By purchasing this candle, you're supporting two Yorkshire, handmade businesses!
Apple Pie Candle
Light for a minimum of two hours, or until the top layer of wax has totally melted and reaches the edge of the glass jar. This ensures the candle burns evenly all the way down and doesn't tunnel.
Trimming the wick helps too. When your candle arrives, it'll be at the perfect length to enjoy your first burn together. After each subsequent burn, let the wax cool and trim the charred wick off. This stops the candle from smoking and reduces soot on the inside of the container. It also stops the wick from getting too hot and burning your candle too fast, meaning it'll last longer. Bonus!
Tip: Make use of your lid. It will keep dust at bay, ensuring your candle is kept clean when not in use.
